What happens if a renewal payment fails?

Last updated on Oct 10, 2026

Check the renewal status first

A renewal can fail because the payment method is declined, an authorization expires, the plan becomes ineligible or service availability changes. Renewal may pause and your existing plan can expire if the issue is not resolved in time.

Open the renewal settings and check the payment or attention message. Update the payment method if requested, then follow the offered next step.

If the transaction is pending or its outcome is unknown, do not submit another payment immediately. Check your orders and contact support so we can verify whether a charge or top-up already exists.

Auto-renewal does not guarantee uninterrupted service in every situation. If the eSIM has already expired, check whether a new plan is required instead of assuming a delayed payment will restore it.
