Find your phone’s SIM settings
Android menus vary by manufacturer and software version. Check that your exact model supports eSIM and is unlocked.
- Google Pixel: open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM, then choose the eSIM setup option.
- Samsung Galaxy: open Settings → Connections → SIM manager, then choose Add eSIM or Add mobile plan.
- Other Android phones: look for an eSIM or mobile plan option in network settings.
Scan the QR code from your private eSIM page using another screen, or enter the manual details when offered. Use a reliable internet connection and read the activation rule first.
At your destination, enable the travel line, choose it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line. Turn off automatic data switching if your phone offers it.
